The City Alive - exhibition at Deutsches Technikmuseum in Berlin
I’m honored and happy to be part of The City Alive, a group exhibition presented by the Berlin-based photography collective Cadavre Exquis at the Deutsches Technikmuseum. The exhibition was created as part of the European Month of Photography (EMOP) and marks the museum’s opening contribution to their multi-year theme “City of the Future.”
As one of ten participating photographers, I contributed to a collaborative visual project developed over six months through a photographic association game. Together, we created 70 interconnected images that respond to one another —like a visual conversation—exploring questions around urban life: How do cities function? Who do they serve? And how do people adapt, reclaim, or subvert the spaces they inhabit?
My photograph for the exhibition.
My photographic responses reflect on intimacy and disruption in the urban fabric, offering personal yet open-ended interpretations of life in the city. The resulting sequences invite viewers to find their own connections between the works and to contribute to the ongoing visual dialogue through an interactive component of the show.
The City Alive runs through January 27, 2026, and is part of the official EMOP Berlin program.
